Mitchel Libman

Friend of Lenorard Kravtiz

Mitchel Libman was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1931. He became childhood friends with Lenoard Kravitz who later would fall in action during the Korean war. Like Kravitz, Mitchel was a Korean War veteran and he conducted a 50-year-long letter-writing campaign after he became convinced that Kravtiz was denied the Medal of Honor because he was Jewish.

Mitchel currently lives in Hollywood, Florida with his wife of 60 years, Marilyn Libman. He has one son, Wayne Libman, who resides nearby.
